Time For A Change
When my family and I first moved here back in 2002. All the doors for the move where wide open. My Transfer from Bonnyville 7-11 to 22nd Street was already in place. We had an apartment to move into. We even had a good church to go to. Almost three years later things are still going good. Work is, well better now that I have my new transfer, we are working towards owning our own home with Habitat for Humanity, and church.... well..... like my title says, I think it's time for a chance. It became very clear this morning when a one of our 2 year olds teacher's greeted us this morning. Firstly, if you don't already know, both my boys have hearing problems and where hearing aids. Caleb, the 2 year old, is in the early intervention problem and someone come by the house every two weeks to work with him and prepare him for preschool which he will start in January of '06. His teacher's concern was that Caleb getting help from someone outside the church and that he could be getting the wrong influence. Firstly, you would think that as christain parents we would know what is right or wrong for our kids. The church is not there to train our childern, they are there to help us if we need it, come alongside and support us. Parenting of any kind, christian or not, is a learning experience. We all make mistakes and have to live with the consequences. We do the best job that we can and hope and pray that our children grow to love God and love and respect us for the job we did, good or bad. Successful parents are those whose children run up to them even when their arms are empty.

BLLEEEECCHHH!
Can you say, "Narrow-minded"?!
Does that mean that doctors are of the devil, or just agents of the anti-christ?
I not sure what it means. Only that we probably won't be going there much longer.
